MEMORIAL TO THE VICTIMS OF 9.11.2001
FROM LITHUANIA
The
tragic events of September II, 2001 struck a deep chord in the hearts of the people
of Lithuania. Memorials in
the form of exhibitions, concerts and media presentations were held in sympathy with the people of the United States. Art and musical compositions were created.
This
striking sculpture expresses the horror of broken, twisted bodies of innocent victims crying out to the heavens and the torn
flag of the U.S. offered up as evidence of an atrocious crime.
The
sculptor wishes to donate this sculpture to the people of the United States. We presently are seeking an appropriate site.
